Khalifa Fund

Khalifa Fund is a $100million program loan provided by the UAE government to the Ethiopian government. The primary purpose of the fund is to create at least 200,000 jobs in a five-year period through the provision of financing to technology and innovative based medium, small and micro enterprises (MSMEs).

The number of intended jobs to be created are 22,336; 24,585; 39,787; 46,843 and 58,388 jobs in the first, second, third, fourth and fifth years respectively. The Khalifa Fund is a revolving fund which runs for 5 years. (Under progress…)
